Dramatic announcement caps “Night for Greenhills”
Head of School Carl Pelofsky brought more than the usual level of excitement to the school’s annual Night for Greenhills March 4 when he opened the public phase of the school’s new capital campaign—and when he added that the campaign’s first phase, the reimagination and renovation of the school library, will begin construction this summer.
The campaign, known formally as Greenhills at 50: Campaign for the Future, seeks to raise funds for three projects: library improvements, renovation of the school’s dining room and kitchen areas, and a new, official-size athletic playing surface for soccer, field hockey, Â lacrosse, and Wellness classes — all surrounded by a full-sized, eight-lane Olympic track.

“These are community spaces,” Pelofsky said. “These are spaces where we gather, where we celebrate. The school is focused on community, and that’s what connects these projects.”
We hope you’ll spend a few minutes seeing what we have in store as we move forward into the next fifty years.
