ACTivate the Cure raises more than $3,000 for cancer research

webactivateThis year’s ACTivate the Cure school-wide variety show, held Oct. 14, raised more than $3,000 for cancer research and also drew a substantial crowd to the Campbell Center for the Performing Arts.

More than a dozen acts took the stage during the annual event, which is entirely organized by students. This year’s producers were juniors Nina Farahanchi, Nikki Farahanchi, and Jamie Todd.

Then it was back to the entertainment, which this year featured popular and classical music selections, classical and Bollywood dance numbers, and even some in-the-dark juggling.

The show was rounded out with a bluegrass-Motown mashup performed by Head of School Carl Pelofsky, Associate Director of College Counseling Allie Levey, and junior Justin Pelofsky.
