UN Award Winners Tomtishen and Vorva Featured in Video

In February seniors Rhiannon Tomtishen and Madison Vorva were honored with the United Nations’ first-ever Forest Heroes Award of North America.
The girls received the award in recognition of their five-year campaign to save orangutans by halting the use of palm oil, the production of which destroys orangutan habitats. The United Nations recently posted a blog with an informational video about the girls’ laudable work. Click here to watch video.
