Laura Hogikyan ’10 Wins Playwright Award

Laura Hogikyan ’10, a freshman at Harvard University, recently won VSA’s 2010 Playwright Discovery Award for her play The Marionette Effect. Laura’s play, which tells the story of a young woman who is unable to play the piano the way she used to after a having a stroke, will be performed on September 30 and October 1 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. as part of the VSA Playwright Discovery Evening.
