Greenhills Mars Rover Team in Competition Finals
The Greenhills 2011 “Michigan Mars Rover” team, Jakob Rodseth ’12, Alex Wozniak ’12 and Michael Szocik ’12, passed the preliminary competition with a score of 98% and will be presenting their Mars Rover design to a panel of professors, graduate students, and undergraduate engineering students this Saturday, April 16 at 1:00 p.m. This final round will be in the Boeing Auditorium at the FXB Building on North Campus, and carries a first prize of $600.
“Their work is excellent and I have high hopes for the team,” says physics teacher Deano Smith.
The presentation is open to the public.
