Blood Battle with Columbus HS a ‘Success’
In conjunction with Saturday’s highly anticipated gridiron match-up between U-M and Ohio State, Greenhills challenged Columbus’ Grandview High School to see which school could donate the most blood. Greenhills held its blood drive on Monday, Nov. 19 and Grandview’s was the following day.
The final “score” was Greenhills: 27 pints, Grandview: 47 pints.
“We did have 20 new donors, which I consider a HUGE success,” says service learning coordinator Alyssa Friendly. “We look forward to re-challenging Ohio during the spring drive.”
