Abbotts earn Booster Award

During their daughter’s time at Greenhills, Ken and Debbie Abbott, this year’s winners of the Booster Club Gryphon Award for Outstanding School Spirit, have worked tirelessly on behalf of the school.

Both spent time in the Gryphon Den selling snacks and souvenirs while their daughter Lauren Abbott ’14 worked with the team. Ken Abbott has prepped the softball field countless times and also helped coach softball. Both parents provided leadership in bringing badly needed new dugouts to Greenhills.
The Booster Club Gryphon Award for Outstanding School Spirit is presented annually to a parent or parents who have made a significant difference for Greenhills athletes through their volunteer activities.
The Abbots accepted their award at the school’s sports assembly this week.
