We seek substitute teachers in all subject areas, serving both our middle and upper schools, grades 6-12.

Substitute teachers may be assigned a lead or supporting role in a classroom, depending on grade level, subject and student needs. Substitute teachers may be assigned a single 75 minute class period or more, up to four class periods in a school day. The school day is 8:30 to 3:20pm. Substitute teachers may be engaged to cover full and/or partial school days. The role of the substitute teacher requires flexibility, collaboration and cooperation. We seek to hire qualified individuals with a deep respect for children and strong classroom management skills. Qualified candidates hold at least a bachelor’s degree and ideal candidates have relevant experience working with children. Substitute teachers may be scheduled ahead of time, or, if available, may be called on the day needed for last minute subbing.
