Leigh Greden ’91: Eastern Michigan University Chief of Staff
Leigh Greden attended Greenhills from sixth grade through 12th grade and graudated in 1991. After earning his undergraduate degree and completing law school, he would go on to practice law, serve as an Ann Arbor City Councilmember, and work as Chief of Staff for Congressman John Dingell. He’s now Chief of Staff for Eastern Michigan University, working with the president’s office on everything from finance and fundraising to enrollment initiatives and student government.
Greden credits Greenhills with preparing him for everything he has accomplished. He believes the small classes, where you don’t feel like a number and can’t hide, combined with challenging courses that taught him he could succeed when he put in the effort, were invaluable in helping him avoid getting lost in the crowd and struggling in college.
“It’s hard for me to think about life without Greenhills, from an academic standpoint, because it had such a positive impact on my life,” said Greden.
