Greenhills middle school robotics, in collaboration with Leon Speaker, will host a STEM of Sound Event to support this year’s FIRST Robotics Tech Challenge competition, CENTERSTAGE, on Monday, November 6. At this event, 6th through 8th grade students will learn about sound and what makes a speaker work and even have the chance to build a speaker. Get ready to hear what makes one type of speaker different from another and why some speakers are better for one type of job than another. You will There will also be opportunities to see how speakers are manufactured and tested, stand inside a completely sound-proof room, meet audio and AV industry professionals, and visit a performance stage.
