Summer Program Wraps Up — Sees 24% Enrollment Increase

Almost 100 students – 24% more than last year – flexed their physical and mental muscles this summer reviewing algebraic equations in preparation for the ACT, writing stories and weight training with the Greenhills summer program.

Courses ran July 9-Aug. 2 and included ACT/SAT Prep, College Essay Writing, Middle School Mythology, The Art of Problem Solving, and Weight Training.

A new class, Middle School Creative Writing, taught by 6th grade English teacher Jonathan Schwartz, was one the most popular offerings with 14 students.

“We were greatly encouraged by the enrollment this year and look forward to offering the same interesting courses and more next year,” says program director Jeff Allen.
